Galaxy acquires Vanney from D.C. United in exchange for Kirk (AP)

 
The Los Angeles Galaxy acquired defender Greg Vanney from D.C. United in exchange for midfielder Quavas Kirk on Friday. Vanney returns to the Galaxy, where he began his career in 1996, after stints with FC Dallas, Colorado and D.C. United, as well as three years in France's Ligue 1. His contract with D.C. [link]
