Georgia Tech In The Drivers Seat to Become Conference Champion

 
Georgia Tech’s chance at the ACC Coastal Division got a big shot in the arm Saturday when Virginia lost to Miami in overtime and with Tech upsetting Florida State in Atlanta. Tech is now in first place in the Coastal Division by a half-game over Virginia and Miami. The Yellow Jackets final two games are at North Carolina next Saturday and home against Miami November 20 in a Thursday night game. If the Jackets win those two games, they will finish 6-2 in the ACC and knock out Miami and North Carolina in the process. They would then need to have Virginia and Virginia Tech both lose one more game to finish at 5-3, because Virginia and Virginia Tech own tiebreakers over the Jackets. Virginia play at Wake Forest, home against Clemson and at Virginia Tech. The Hokies final four games are home against Maryland, at Miami and home against Duke and Virginia. Tech’s job won’t be easy.
