GeorgiaDawg's Five Great Georgia Wins: Part One - Georgia Tech

 
When you love to write about football, and your team is having a tough year, what do you do? Well I say you focus on a few great wins in one of the greatest rivalries in the South. Georgia has played Georgia Tech 103 times. Georgia has won 59 of those games, and before Tech's win last season the rivalry had pretty much become one sided. For Georgia fans they only need to look to the Florida series to understand how those on North Ave in Atlanta feel. Since 1978, Georgia has won 23 of the 31 games played. Winning 74% of the time can really make your in state rival hate you. But Tech has a new coach, and a new outlook. They remind us Georgia fans daily of their win last season. They are predicting another win this season, and many more to come with the new Paul Johnson regime. Only time will tell us how the series unfolds over the next few years. But one thing is certain...history tells us of many great Georgia wins. I'm sure a Tech fan can tell you about many great Tech wins. I will leave ... (link)
