Giants admit PSLs are here

 
More on the controversial topic of PSL (personal seat licenses) at the new stadium… The Giants sent an e-mail to season ticket holders this afternoon, in the form of a letter from co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch, announcing the new stadium absolutely will have PSLs. This is the first public acknowledgment by either the Giants or Jets that PSLs are a reality. The timing of the Giants’ announcement makes the Jets look bad because, when they sent out their “survey” last week, there was no definitive statement on whether PSLs would be in effect. Obviously, at that time, the Jets knew damn well there would be PSLs. Give the Giants credit for taking the blunt, honest approach. We all know that if the Giants do it, the Jets will do it. Here’s a sample from the Giants’ letter: “At a cost of over $1.6 billion, the new stadium development is the largest 100 percent privately-financed stadium project in the United States.
