The New York Giants kept only two quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, with David Carr backing up Eli Manning. They released both Anthony Wright and rookie Andre Woodson today. The Giants could attempt to re-sign Woodson to the practice squad. The Giants also signed kicker John Carney. He will be the at-least-temporary replacement for Lawrence Tynes, who underwent recent exploratory knee surgery. It's unclear when Tynes will be ready to kick again.
