THE GAME: The defending Super Bowl champion Giants (7-1) at the Philadelphia Eagles (5-3), 8:15 p.m., NBC
WHAT IT MEANS: This is really pretty much the same as last week. The Giants have a chance to bury another division foe, and really turn this into a two-team race in the NFC East. If they Eagles lose, they’ll trail the Giants by three games with seven to play, plus they’ll be losing the head-to-head battle, which will make it highly unlikely they can win the division. This is their last stand before they settle for joining the wild-card chase.
MATCHUP TO WATCH: DEs Justin Tuck and Mathias Kiwanuka vs. QB Donovan McNabb. I know this is an unconventional matchup, because Tuck and Kiwanuka are technically going up against the tackles. But I think how this game goes for the Giants will be determined by how well they can keep McNabb contained and pressure him into quick and/or bad throws.
