Grizzlies begin life without Gasol (AP)

 
The face of the Memphis Grizzlies franchise is gone, and so is some of the proof that he was a major part of the team. The Grizzlies officially started their rebuilding Saturday night against the Utah Jazz, a day after trading Pau Gasol, the team's all-time leading scorer, to the Los Angeles Lakers for a trio of players and draft picks.
