Juan Carlos Navarro scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and the Memphis Grizzlies held on for a 117-111 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. Rudy Gay scored 24 points and Darko Milicic had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Memphis, which has won consecutive games for only the second time this season.

The tanking of the season by the New York Knicks continues tonight in Minnesota. With both Ron Artest and Brad Miller and Beno Udrih racking up DNPs for the Kings latest game, both Francisco Garcia (3.6) and Spencer Hawes (3.6) came ready to play. Not that the difference between W or L has tons of weight at this point, and no win was even guaranteed had the play ended with a Spencer Hawes rebound instead of three Juan Carlos Navarro free throws. But good freaking gravy. Bad play, man. Bad play. I might also question just a bit the absence of John Salmons in the last quarter.Postgame Thoughts - Sacramento
