Grudzielanek sitting out with sore back

 
Second baseman Mark Grudzielanek is out of the Royals' lineup with a sore lower back, after an MRI showed that he had an irritated disk. He wil likely be day-to-day, and will not hit the DL, though he will likely not start in Thursday's double bill. [link]
