Grudzielanek sitting out with sore back

Second baseman Mark Grudzielanek is out of the Royals' lineup with a sore lower back, after an MRI showed that he had an irritated disk. He wil likely be day-to-day, and will not hit the DL, though he will likely not start in Thursday's double bill.

With the double-dip slated to kick off at about 6:10p EST, I estimate that the second game will start at about 9:30p… which is just about when things are slated to get dicey.
