Guerrero gets comeback fight against Ruiz (AP)

Former featherweight champion Robert Guerrero will fight Edel Ruiz on Jan. 24 in Los Angeles, ending a nearly 11-month layoff due to a dispute with his former promoter. Guerrero (22-1-1, 15 KOs), a Gilroy native who twice held the IBF's 126-pound title, hasn't fought since Feb. 29 while working to leave promoter Dan Goossen.
