Joe Johnson scored 24 points and the Atlanta Hawks made 12 3-pointers to stay perfect on the young season while handing the New Orleans Hornets their first loss, 87-79 on Wednesday night. Reserve Flip Murray added 14 points for the Hawks (3-0), hitting a pair of 3s in the fourth quarter, including one as the shot clock expired during a 14-2 surge that put Atlanta in the lead for good.
