Heels' Hansbrough sits out as precaution (AP)

National player of the year Tyler Hansbrough will not play for top-ranked North Carolina against North Carolina-Asheville on Sunday night for precautionary reasons as he recovers from a preseason shin injury. Hansbrough missed the Tar Heels' first two games with a stress reaction in his right shin, but has played three games since.
