Livan Hernandez shut down one of the most potent lineups in baseball on Friday night, holding the Tigers to just one run over seven innings in the Twins' 11-1 victory at the Metrodome.

The Cubano Caballo looked like he was going to struggle early but then handled the Tigers quite handily and besides, the wheels on the Carlos Counter were a'spinnin' and the Twins are a half game out of first. Did I mention my man crush on Livan? Just read the article.
