Hey Media, Where Were You on This One?

 
We were all horrified on Saturday watching Cal's Jahvid Best hurdle through the air and land squarely on his back with such force his helmet popped off like a cork out of a champagne bottle. We all feared he may be paralyzed, possibly permanently. Then came the good news. He has movement in all extremities, although he sustained a concussion. Then we hear that he had a concussion the previous week. Wait, what? He had a concussion, when? The previous week? When Tim Tebow had a concussion against Kentucky, what did we hear for TWO WEEKS?? "Will Urban Meyer do the right thing?" "Will he put Tim's health first?" "Will he sit Tebow even if doctors clear him?" When Meyer played Tebow it was, "Well I guess Meyer is more concerned with winning than he is his player's health." Tebow had an off-week in between the Kentucky and LSU games. And still, all you heard on ESPN and the drive-by media was "Urban could make a statement here by sitting Tebow. He can tell all the high school players and their ... (link)
