Hey Auburn, stay away from Schiano

 
Let’s hope any thoughts of a Rutgers vs. Ball State rematch in the Motor City Bowl have evaporated after the Cardinals got spanked, 42-24, by Buffalo in the MAC championship game. Suddenly, Ball State isn’t 12-0 and ranked 12th in the BCS standings. They’re just a team that Rutgers buried, 52-30, last year in the International Bowl. Not sure how much interest there would be from Rutgers fans to travel to chilly Detroit for this one, the night after Christmas. I know, I’d take a pass. As for Greg Schiano, we see some Auburn message boards would love to see him in the mix for that job. No way. Schiano has it going on at Rutgers and is on the verge of signing another Top 25 class and has won big in the last six games, scoring 54 on Pitt, 49 on South Florida and 63 on Louisville as the Knights finished strong at 7-5. Besides, given the fact a class act like Tommy Tuberville, whose career record was 85-40 after 10 years and who had won five SEC West titles, five of six ... (link)
