Alex Tanguay is being heavily persued by the Florida Panthers, and a deal is in the works. We should see an announcement of the deal coming tomorrow, or just the day after. No word yet on the length or money, but after being turned down by Colorado, he has nowhere else to turn.
The Coyotes have also put in a bid but he isn't ready to totally cash it in and play for money alone. He wants to win and right now the Panthers are the better team.
Tanguay to Florida HRB Percentage: 80 Percent
Next comes Saku Koivu who is being courted by the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, and Minnesota Wild. The Wild have the best offer, which isn't money or years but Koivu's own brother Mikko. It is unlikely he will end up there.
