Holm's first homer lifts Giants past Phils

Steve Holm replaced Bengie Molina both defensively and offensively in the San Francisco Giants' 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. The catcher clubbed a decisive two-run homer in the seventh inning.

The usually reliable bullpen came up short today for the Phillies, failing to protect a one run lead in the later innings. Adam Eaton started the game and had major control issues, walking 5 batters in 5 innings, but he managed to keep most of the damage off the scoreboard, holding the Giants to just two runs.
