Ultimately, it was only a 1-for-4 evening. But in the grand scheme, that doesn't matter much to Phillies slugger Ryan Howard -- even if the perfectionist still comes out in him.

Luckily, thanks to Ryan Howard finally waking up from his slumber, the Phillies offense put the game away early, scoring 5 runs in the first inning to lead the Phillies to an 8-4 victory over the Pirates. Howard had been mired in a deep funk.....

Rollins on the mend

Rollins, currently on the disabled list, with a sprained ankle took batting AND fielding practice yesterday in Clearwater, Florida. Rollins told the Philadelphia Inquirer he was much improved.
