Give the hoosiers credit for showing they are pretty resilient in the face of loosing their popular coach. At least he was popular with the players if not the hoosier hysteria faithful! They showed alot of confidence in beating a respectable Ohio State team Tuesday night in their first home game since the departure of their embattled former coach Kelvin Sampson. In his first home game "Interim Head Coach" Dan Dakich, who many hope will not be carrying the "Interim" in his title beyond this season, knows what it means to be in one of the biggest spotlights in college basketball. Yes Tennessee, Indiana is still the home of this great sport. And coach "Doc or Dak" as I recently heard Eric Gordon refer to their new head coach, knows what it will mean if he can lead the shaken hoosiers to a Big Ten Championship and perhaps deep into the NCAA tournament. As a die-hard I.U. Hoosier Basketball Fan I am hoping for a minor miracle. Yes, I do ...
