Hornets F West sidelined with hip injury (AP)

 
New Orleans Hornets forward David West, the team's second-leading scorer, missed a game for the first time this season Saturday night against the Phoenix Suns because of a bruised left hip. West, averaging 19.4 points and 9.4 rebounds in 33 games, was injured Friday night during the Hornets' 116-104 victory at Golden State, when he collided with the Warriors' Stephen Jackson. [link]
