Houston leaves 3 starters unprotected for MLS expansion draft (AP)

 
Four starters from the MLS Cup final, including three from the Houston Dynamo's title-winning team, will be available to San Jose Earthquakes manager Frank Yallop in the league's expansion draft Wednesday. Goalkeeper Pat Onstad and defenders Ryan Cochrane and Craig Waibel were left unprotected by Houston following the Dynamo's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Sunday. (link)
