I love October

 
October is the best month of the year, it's like Christmas for the sports fan.  Football is under way with the match-up taking shape.  But the air is cool and the MLB playoffs are under way.  This year the playoffs are not to disappoint the Cubbies, taking the digger early, the Angels dropping the ball and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays wearing the glass slipper.  The run to the Fall Classic is shaping up to be one for the books. The Phillies early jump on the Dodgers has all but stopped the Man-Ram's glorious run to a Prophet like title.  In case you were wondering I am of the opinion that Manny is one of the greatest hitters of our time, however he just gets under my skin so not feeling to sorry for him right now. The hot story is of course the dismantling of the Boston Red Sox by the Rays.  The Rays have prooven doubters wrong and beat the pants off some pretty good teams.  To those of you in the Tampa area, enjoy this time.  A run like this has the ...
