ATLANTA--The owners awarded the 2012 Super Bowl to Indianapolis. The game will be played at the Colts' new stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, that opens next season. The other finalists were Houston and Arizona. Indianapolis was regarded as a virtual lock to get the game after being edged out in last year's voting for the 2011 game, which went to Dallas.
