Injury to keep Gaborik from World Championships

Marian Gaborik has a hip injury that will keep him from playing for Slovakia in hockey's world championship tournament next month.
The Minnesota Wild said Thursday their star right wing will undergo further medical consultation before a decision is made on how to treat the injury.
The Wild issued a brief news release that revealed Gaborik has a "hip deficiency attributable to overuse.
