Iowa Forecloses on Penn State's Title Deed!

 
Penn State was ambushed by the Iowa Hawkeyes, who dashed the Nittany Lions' hopes of a BCS championship game. Iowa outplayed Penn State both in rushing and passing. The Hawkeyes also played defense when it counted and won the game on a last second field goal. All eyes will be on the new BCS rankings now as teams will move up. Alabama will probably remain No. 1 until they play the SEC Championship Game against most likely, Florida. This game undoubtedly will determine one of the teams in the BCS championship. The other team should originate from the Big 12, with Texas Tech being the front runner, as well as Oklahoma, Texas, and Oklahoma State. USC also has a small chance of crashing the party, but a weaker schedule prohibits this from happening, most likely. Anything is possible of course, but the two best teams will probably be the SEC Champion vs the Big 12 representative. Texas Tech can determine their own fate by not losing a game, but that road might be tough playing Oklahoma ... (link)
