Is Ibanez On Your Fantasy Team? Well, He Should Be
How many "U's" are in Rauuuuul Ibanez's name? It depends:
"Sometimes five, sometimes seven." He told a San Diego Padres catcher in a Mariner's commercial.
Raul Ibanez had yet another solid year. A hundred RBI's, nearly 200 hits, and a .293 batting average. He is 36, and a solid pro who has played just twelve years of hardball, and may still have juice in him.
Today, the Mariners offered him a contract. Many teams could use the valuable lefty bat in their line-ups. Could you use him on your fantasy team?
Most likely, wherever Raul lands, he will have another good year, a hundred RBI, 30 homers, and a .290 average, depending on playing time. He also shows a lot of maturity at the plate, which for those of you who are going young, that maturity and leadership is a valuable asset.
Yankee, Cub, of Mariner, five U's or seven, he is a great sign to any team.
