Is Jimmy Rollins Facing a Trade in '09?

 
As the Philadelphia Phillies' offense continues to flounder, growing concerns about this team's potential are pushing a few key issues to the forefront of thought. How else can the starting rotation be improved? What will be Jamie Moyer's fate? How can the offensive black holes at third base and catcher be improved? All of those concerns are legitimate and should be the first things addressed during the '08-'09 offseason for the Phillies. Beyond the obvious concerns, however, lies a sleeping giant, preparing to rear its ugly head. With Jimmy Rollins's outspoken nature running afoul of many Philadelphia fans this year. Calling Philly fans "fair-weather" while posting a line of .266/.333/.433 will certainly draw some ire, and the solid production of minor-league prospect and American Olympian Jason Donald catching some eyes, perhaps the future of Jimmy Rollins among the phair-weather Philly phans is in doubt.
