Is the SEC That Much Better Than the ACC?

 
I am not so sure, top to bottom, that the ACC isn’t the SEC’s equal at this point in the season. I mean, Duke did go into Nashville and beat Vanderbilt. The SEC is clearly better at the top, but after LSU there is a huge drop-off to the rest of the conference right now. Here is how I would rank the ACC & SEC together.  I realize I still have Vanderbilt ahead of Duke, but I feel between 15 (Vandy) and 22 (Tennessee) there is not a lot of difference between these two teams. Combined ACC & SEC Rankings 1. Alabama 2(tie). Florida 2(tie). Georgia 4. LSU 5. Florida State 6. Virginia 7. Maryland 8. North Carolina 9. Virginia Tech 10. Georgia Tech 11. South Carolina 12. Ole Miss 13. Boston College 14. Miami 15. Vanderbilt 16. Kentucky 17. Wake Forest 18. Clemson 19. Duke 20. Arkansas 21. Auburn 22. Tennessee 23. Miss State 24. NC State I think the SEC is still the better conference of the two, but only because of their top three or four teams being so strong.  If you ... (link)
