Former Islander Jason Blake returned to Nassau Coliseum
for the first time last night since signing with Toronto in the summer, and Isles goaltender Rick DiPietro exited after one period with a left knee injury. Between all the comings and goings, the Islanders rediscovered their scoring touch, and backup goalie Wade Dubielewicz recaptured a bit of the magic from his season-saving run to the playoffs last spring.
