Is the Allen Iverson Experiment over?
The Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported on their web site that Iverson asked to leave the team for personal reasons. The Grizzlies granted his request.
Memphis (1-5) plays the Los Angeles Clippers later tonight in Los Angeles. Iverson has come off the bench in three games this season.
He scored eight points in 21 minutes on Friday night in a 114-98 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.
