As usual, I will be at work tracking the game on my cell phone hoping for a Raider win even if it kills the Raiders’ chance to get Darren McFadden. It looks like Josh McCown will be startin, but JaMarcus Russell could get extended playing time. Here are some thoughts from early morning on game day.

Oakland Raiders Mauled by the Jacksonville Jaguars
mvn.com 12/24/2007 — JaMarcus Russell played most of the game getting his first extended playing time. He thew three interceptions and fumbled once as the Raiders got obliterated by the Jaguars. I am not knocking him, he is a rookie and it was his first extended playing time and the Jags are a very good defense. He has to take his lumps, and hopefully this game helps him get them out of the way.
