Six Jacksonville starters were inactive and quarterback David Garrard was not starting Sunday against Houston with the Jaguars playoff spot already secure. Quinn Gray was to start in place of Garrard. Running back Fred Taylor, defensive end Paul Spicer, receiver Dennis Northcutt, linebacker Daryl Smith, tackle Tony Pashos and cornerback Rashean Mathis were all inactive, as was Maurice Jones-Drew.
