Jeff Teague: Departing From Wake Forest
A disappointing decision for many Demon Deacon fans, and a relief for much of the rest of the ACC, Jeff Teague has decided to remain in the NBA Draft this year.
Teague's announcement comes after he had decided not to sign an agent, following teammate James Johnson's announcement that he was in fact entering the draft with an agent.
Teague led Wake Forest with 18.8 points per game and a staggering 44 percent shooting from three. He also added 3.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, as well as an impressive 82 percent from the line and 1.9 steals per game.
Wake Forest lost their top two players to this draft, but will return rising sophomore Al-Farouq Aminu, which gives hope to the program.
Along with Aminu, the Deacons will have their largest, and most experienced, senior class in some years.
