Jets Hope; Harry Mangini Most of you know how I've treated the Jets with the wrong emotions and have maybe in your eyes, crossed the line. What I was trying to portray was the idea of hope. Look, the Jets are statistically not a great team, and I was not the first to criticize them, but what does resemble the Jets is hope. The Jets have made many struggles upon difficult decisions they had to make each season. They hired a new coach and Edwards was kicked to Kansas City, but above all the criticism and talk about the Jets hope is what brings this team together. Recentely, I have found documents about my article When Will The New York Jets Win? I am disgusted about how you would portray my ideas and thought like that. I had some of my opinions and you had yours, but you have to admitt, the Jets are not the best team around. You gave me cruel talkback of how THEY ROCK or how good they will be. That, I find perfectely fine because hope is what the Jets are all about! ... (link)
