Joba Chamberlain Hopes To Rescue the New York Yankees

 
The Yankees (58-48) are losers of three straight now, but they have their youngster sensation Joba Chamberlain (3-3, 2.30) going. Joba's last outing was against the Boston Red Sox on Friday night, where he out-dueled Josh Beckett for a 1-0 victory.   Joba threw seven shutout innings, with nine strikeouts, on 103 pitches. He dominated a tough Red Sox lineup in Fenway Park. It was easily his best start yet. The Orioles (51-55), who have a three-game win streak going, look to sweep the Yankees in this final game of a three-game set at Yankee Stadium.  They will send right-hander Dennis Sarfate (4-1, 3.78) to the mound. He makes his first big-league start at Yankee Stadium, which hits a little close to home since he is a native of Queens, NY. You can only imagine that he will have some family in the stands.
