All good things must come to an end. Joba Chamberlain gave up his first-ever runs at Yankee Stadium tonight, and the Yanks lost to Cleveland. There were no bugs this time against the Indians; just a three-run homer from David Dellucci.
I was running an errand and listening to the part of the game in the car. I quickly rushed from the car to the house during that at-bat, but the homer happened just at the time I was going through the front door, so all I saw was Joba looking dejected afterwards.
Anyhow, it was a bummer of a loss, especially considering how well Andy Pettitte pitched. Oh well.

In other news, Alex Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia admitted on the new YES series “YESterdays” that A-Rod had fainted when she was in labor with their first baby:
