The Bulls open their 43rd season Tuesday with their fortunes riding in large part on the development of Chicago native and No. 1 draft pick Derrick Rose, along with the ability of new coach Vinny Del Negro. With Rose running the offense, the Bulls hope to turn around their 33-49 record of last season. The Sun-Times caught up with general manager John Paxson to talk about what lies ahead.
