Kent not rushing his recovery

 
Though second baseman Jeff Kent said that it's still too soon to know whether his lingering hamstring strain will be healed by Opening Day, manager Joe Torre expects the situation to be clearer on Tuesday, when the club leaves Arizona for California. [link]
