at Minnesota 98, Sacramento 96: Kevin Love made an impressive NBA debut with 12 points and nine rebounds in 19 minutes and Al Jefferson had 21 points and 10 rebounds to help the Timberwolves hold off the Kings. Love, the fifth overall pick out of UCLA, scored seven points in a 9-4 run that gave Minnesota a six-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.
