The Knicks added three players to their roster last night; first they drafted Arizona 6-foot-10 forward Jordan Hill with the eighth overall pick. They later acquired the rights to Florida State guard Toney Douglas, who was selected 29th overall by the Lakers. The Knicks sent $3 million and a 2011 second round pick to the Lakers for the pick.
The club also was close to finalizing the deal for Darko Milicic from the Grizzlies for Quentin Richardson.
