The Knicks played absolutely fantastically in the opening game against the Heat.
They look like they are determined to win, and they haven't played this good as a team since the Van Gundy era. A full effort from ten out of the 12 players on the team—the ten that played.
Stephon Marbury and Eddy Curry spent the game on the bench. Why? Most likely because of the fact that they are the face of the "Isiah era." Curry last season lacked rebounding abilities and was lazy on defense, but is that a reason to keep him on the bench the whole game? Not at all, he is still a tremendous offensive force and a much more feared big man than Zach Randolph, in my opinion.
Curry needs at least 20 minutes a game. Some nights he is feeling it and he can not be stopped. If Curry is able to run in Coach Mike's offense, then he should be able to play.
Stephon Marbury is a great player. Yeah, it has been said by a die hard Knicks fan. Stephon doesn't deserve to start, but he should play. He adds ...
