It's unfortunate that in some regards, what Game 5 of the 2008 NBA Finals will be remembered for is Kobe Bryant's steal and dunk to seal a tight ball game in the fourth quarter. It might be remembered for -- to put it mildly -- the rough go of it had by Kevin Garnett in the fourth quarter.Still Have To Win One More

In my heart I know we've won this series. No team has come back from down 3 games to one. It would take an amazing team to do so, and the Lakers are not amazing. Not only that, but they are mentally broken. Snapped like a branch in a hurricane, just hanging by a thread. Instead of focusing on poor play and bemoaning the fact that if the Lakers didn’t choke away a 24-point lead they would hold the 3-2 series advantage, the optimum way to view this situation is that the next two games are actually pure gravy, a gift from the basketball gods that allows the Lakers, who happen to employ the game’s best gunslinger, two do-or-die shots at basketball immortality.
