Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has agreed to a new four-year, $40 million contract that will keep him with the Arizona Cardinals and free salary cap space for the team. Fitzgerald announced the agreement on his Web site and indicated that the deal contains $30 million in guaranteed money. Escalator clauses in Fitzgerald's previous contract had pushed Fitzgerald's salaries to an unwieldy $14.6 million next season and $17.4 million in the 2009 season.
