Lefty Aaron Laffey, who is competing for a spot in the starting rotation, limited the Mets to one run on five hits in five innings Wednesday night, but the Tribe came up short in a 3-1 loss in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Jason Michaels went deep in the first for the Indians. (link)
