League, M. Walsh Nearing Deal

 
Lawyers for the NFL and former New England Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh are close to completing an agreement that would provide legal protection for Walsh so that he could be interviewed by league officials about the videotaping scandal involving the Patriots. Indications are that the deal could be completed as soon as today. If it is, it's not immediately clear how soon Walsh would be interviewed by the NFL.
