Lester Dominates Mound; Sox Win 4-0

 
The road trip that some would say could be the key to holding on to the AL East lead until the All Star Break has been a success thus far. The team has gone 2-1 versus both teams, and 4-2 overall. Now they come into Baltimore, the Fenway of the South, due to the same winds inside, and the amount of Red Sox fans that migrate south to the games. Jon Lester, the already experienced young pitcher, faced a rookie 26-year-old pitcher, Jason Berken. He had struggled so far this season, going 1-4 and only pitching more than five innings twice in his six starts. Meanwhile, Jon had caught fire. At the moment, he has become a strikeout machine, and his record has jumped because of it. In his last five games he had 44 Ks, and it's a weird thought to say that he's younger than Jason Berken. Eight pitches into the game, Jason Berken had already given up a run. J.D Drew knocked a triple on the third pitch, and on the eighth Dustin Pedroia brought J.D Drew home with a single.
