Let the Shaun Hill Era Begin in San Francisco

 
After JT O'Sulivan's performance for seven-and-a-half games this season, the 49ers finally have a quarterback they can trust. O'Sullivan made his 17th turnover of the season Sunday at the end of the second quarter. This needs repeating: 17th turnover. The team has 20 turnovers total, and O'Sullivan is responsible for 17 of them. Breaking it down, he has seven fumbles lost and 10 interceptions. Seventeen turnovers in a season is considered the bare minimum for success. O'Sullivan managed to do so after half a season's worth of play. With interim coach Mike Singletary now running the show, he pulled O'Sullivan and inserted the lovable Shaun Hill. Hill went on to throw for 173 yards and a touchdown, but, most importantly, committed had no turnovers. Last season when Hill took over for the injured Trent Dilfer, he had one interception against five touchdowns.
