The 2009 Draft came and went. There were very few surprises, and as usual the draft wouldn't be the draft without New Yorkers heckling David Stern. The Clippers for once didn't have brain cramps and picked Balke Griffin the number one consensus pick.
Thabeet went to the Grizzlies at two. After that James Harden at three was a surprise.
Minnesota for some inexplicable reason choose three point guards, one (Ty Lawson) they traded to Denver for cash and future considerations.
They now have Johnny Flynn and Ricky Rubio a major trade is waiting to happen because Rubio is threatening to go back to Europe. Stay tuned for that result.
But this slide show is about the trades that happened with veteran teams and players and how it effects the NBA landscape.
