Lights, Camera, Gary Pinkel! Missouri Coach Absorbing More National Exposure

 
If you've watched much ESPN the last week, you've probably heard Missouri mentioned quite frequently. It's been surreal to hear the Tigers consistently mentioned in the same breath as USC and Oklahoma when analysts have been discussing the most impressive teams in college football. Only three short years ago I would get excited if the Tigers got a top 25 vote. We've come a long way.  But ESPN isn't going to drop into a prevent defense any time soon when covering the Tigers. No, they're going to continue to blitz by flying Gary Pinkel in to appear on a number of ESPN radio and television shows . Pinkel's day on The Network's campus will include an appearance on ESPN2's First Take, a live chat on ESPN.com, an appearance with Mike Tirico and Scott Van Pelt's radio show (whose podcast I subscribe to), and appearances on College Football Live and ESPNews.  That's big time, my friends. I just hope the team pulls out the win against Buffalo. Can you imagine how awkward that's ... (link)
