Curtis Granderson will be back in the Tigers' lineup tonight, starting in centerfield and batting leadoff against the Rangers. To make room for Granderson the Tigers optioned Clete Thomas back down to Toledo. In a final note, Gary Sheffield and Placido Polanco will remain out of the lineup.
